Physical Description (Updated to be less gothy:
This is what you’d see if you looked at him, you may be able to deduce some stats
Jacques is a 5’10" human male with a slender build. He has grey eyes, almost black hair which he keeps somewhat long, and swept back. His features are handsome, and he looks like a man you can trust. He wears green trousers and with a dark leather vest over a slightly puffy green shirt. Draped over his left shoulder is a small black and green cloak. At his hip is an edged rapier. On his right hand Jack wears a gold ring set with an emerald stone, indicating his status as a noble and his ancestry. His fingernails, hair and clothing are noticeably clean, and he has a proud air about him.
Jacques (Jack) is the young son of the Mage Lambert Charmont, and the grandson of Lucien Charmont who is known for founding The Magic University in Stromsok. His family name is known to nearly all citizens of Aram. Due to his lineage, much is expected of Jack, who is fearful he may not live up to these expectations. His sister, Karoline, on the other hand was everything their parents had wanted her to be.
Jack spent much of his childhood in school. Much to the dismay of his father, he often skipped Magery class in favor of socializing with his friends. Jack’s former tutor (also the former tutor of Karoline, until he retired) always told Jack of his great potential if he’d only apply himself to his magical studies. Some of the children were… unappreciative of the attention he received and bullied him without mercy. The bullying and later the supposed death of Karoline prompted Jack’s uncle Marius to instruct young Jack to fight with the sword, and with his hands. Jack has since been very protective of his self, as well as his close friends. He will never lift a finger to someone he considers innocent, however, innocence is lost when he feels insulted.
Although he has had experience with servants and slaves, Jack always preferred to do things himself. He would rarely issue an order to a slave, and when he did it was at his father’s urging. “That’s what these dwarves are for my boy!” as they perform menial tasks for him.
Jack receives a small allowance from his father, who wishes to use money as an incentive for his son to take his Magical education more seriously. Currently Jack is preparing to study at the University to try and appease his father, the administrator.
After his first small adventure, Jack was scolded by his father and made to go home and continue his studies.
